Ladies Over 35s Division 2
Dee Why Oval
Beacon Hill 6 vs CC Strikers 0
Our final game before the finals series and a fantastic win to seal the Major Premiership for us by one point over fierce rivals Wakehurst A.
We played our own game with excellent passing and composure on the ball. We shared the goals around today with one each to Noeline, Jodie, Tracey C, Tracey D, Kerry and 'player of the match', Maz.
What a great season we have had. 12 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss (the first game of the season). 53 goals scored and only 4 conceded (2 in the first game of the season). Most importantly though great friendship and plenty of off field socialising.
We now focus on continuing this good form into the round robin semis to allow us to qualify for the Grand Final on the 22nd of August.
Thank you to our ever patient coach Chris and manager Russell for their ongoing support.

Women's Premier League
Kitchener Park, Mona Vale
Beacon Hill v Pittwater
First Grade: Loss 4-0
Reserve Grade: Win 2-0
A beautiful winter’s day saw these two rival clubs meet at Kitchener Park and some great football was displayed throughout the afternoon from both sides.
Our First Grade team opened the first 45 minutes in fine form holding a strong Pittwater team scoreless. We were well in this game until Pittwater scored two quick goals in succession. It was always going to be a tough ask from here but we continued to press until the very end. Great efforts today from Brianna and Jess and to the entire team for their determination.
The Reserve Grade Game saw us score within the first 2 minutes where Kathy was unlucky when she hit the post and Claire was there to finish off. From here we settled into the game and dominated for most. Pittwater fought on gamely and nearly came back into the game through a direct penalty which was beautifully saved by Brianna and also Alison's two off the goal line clearances were game savers. Well done ladies.

Ladies Over 35 Division 3A
Terrey Hills Oval
Beacon Hill A 5 v BTH Raiders B 0
What a beautiful afternoon it was to play a game of football and the afternoon just got better with a well deserved 5 - 0 victory over BTH B. Although the first 20 minutes was tight, with only the bare eleven it wasn't long before we stamped our authority on the game. A beautiful strike from Lisa Thompson broke the deadlock and opened up her account for the day.
1 - 0 at halftime, the second half proved to be a lot more fruitful as our midfielders and forwards combined well and a further 4 goals were added with Lisa Thompson securing another 3 and Sam scoring a great goal.
Our backline was as always solid ensuring that Di kept yet another clean sheet.
One of our best victories, everyone on the park was at their best and it was a joy to be a part of.
Well done to Helen and Lisa Thompson for being awarded players of the week!
Thanks also to Jane for being there ready to play, although she was ill.

Ladies Over 35 Division 3
Allambie Heights Oval
Beacon Hill A 0 v Mosman 0
It was a cold rainy Sunday afternoon, where else would we be but ankle deep in mud at Allambie? Mosman played strong from the start, we knew this was going to be a tough one. The Maidens however were up for the challenge.
Passing between the forwards and mids was accurate and keen, with quite a few attempts at goal. The backline led by Jane and Kerrie L worked tirelessly. Diana in goals saved us again whilst encountering a mudbath.
Although it was a difficult game, playing in the mud a nil all score was a satisfying draw against a strong team.
Thanks to Merri and Fi for your amazing help. To Vince, Fab, Eric and Lisa thanks for your selfless dedication.

Women's Premier League
David Thomas, Manly Vale
Beacon Hill v Manly Vale A
First Grade: Loss 2-0
Reserve Grade: Loss 2-1
A cold and wet winter's day was the order of the day at David Thomas to see our much depleted squad go up against Manly Vale 'A'. One of the great things we have at Beacon Hill is depth and so today we had another under 16 debutante to the Premier League ranks – Casey Eagleton who took the field with our now seasoned Stephanie Zervos in the Reserve Grade game and as expected Casey's defense was unblemished and Stephanie's attack was vigorous, including a very nice goal, so a special thank you to you both.
Our First Grade team opened strongly and were unlucky on many occasions not to score and up until halftime it was quite an even affair. Manly Vale skipped away after the first goal and then were slowed up through a nice direct penalty save from Brianna. We were always in with a chance and battled to the end – Great effort Ladies.
The Reserve Grade Game saw Manly Vale score at the 20 minute mark from a free kick and we equalized 5 minutes before halftime. It was anyone's game with both teams pressing hard and in the end the victory swung away from us. Our team played well with a strong spirited effort. Keep your belief and you will be rewarded.

Women's Premier League
Beacon Hill Oval
Beacon Hill v Harbord Seasiders United
First Grade: Win 4-3
Reserve Grade: Loss 1-0
Today was always going to be interesting as both squads were missing players due to injury and school holidays and for the first time this season we had no referees which was disappointing as we are after all Premier League. However, saying this, the crowd at Beacon Hill Oval were in for some thrilling football with both games going down to the wire.
Our First Grade team were very impressive and showed real spirit and courage to come back from 3-1 down to win 4-3. Piper and Jess W led the way through the middle of the park, Aimee was outstanding in defense and the real highlight was watching the squad stick together and support each other. Well done ladies.
The Reserve Grade game was one of those games where you dominate the game, you control possession, you make the breaks and you should win yet a lucky bounce to the opposition and your on the back foot. We played well but didn't put away our chances. Better luck next time ladies.
